Level 2 ADAS: The Key Upgrade
The HTX is the cheapest Carens Clavis EV with Level 2 ADAS, offering 20 features. These include smart cruise control with stop and go, which keeps a safe gap in traffic. In addition, lane keeping assist and lane following assist help on highways, while blind-spot collision-avoidance assist makes lane changes safer. Best of all, it costs just Rs 54,000 more than the HTX E.

Beyond ADAS, the HTX is well equipped. It gets a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, 64-colour ambient lighting and a Smart Pure air purifier with AQI display. Inside, beige and navy leatherette seats and dual 12.25-inch screens give the cabin a premium feel. For families, it keeps the one-touch electric tumble second row and roof-mounted rear AC vents. It also gets 6 airbags as standard.
What It Misses
The HTX still uses the smaller 42 kWh battery and 16-inch wheels. It also misses a digital key, which comes with the Extended Range trims. In addition, ventilated seats, Bose audio and V2L are reserved for the HTX Plus ER and above.
