Design5/5

Royal Enfield has absolutely nailed the design. With curvy bodylines, an exposed frame, and premium materials used for the body panels, the bike looks elegant and beautiful.

The bike gets an iconic retro-styled headlamp, a streamlined tank, a bobber-like floating seat design, and smooth fenders that give it a unique look. It is definitely a head-turner. The aluminium frame and the magnesium battery casing not only look good but also keep the bike’s kerb weight low.

What really grabs your attention is the girder fork, which is quite a rare sight in modern motorcycles. It keeps the bike true to its roots and gives it vintage vibes. Also, the pillion seat is easily detachable, which makes the bike even more elegant if you remove it.

Colour Schemes

The bike is available in two colour schemes: Storm Black and Flea Green. Both of these colour schemes are quite subtle, and premium, just like other Royal Enfield bikes. Draped in these shades, the bike doesn’t scream for attention, but turns heads quietly.

Build Quality

As expected from Royal Enfield, the bike is sturdy and feels solid. All of the components are well put-together, and we think they will last for quite some time. But this is the only ‘big-bike’ feel this Royal Enfield electric bike can give.

Features5/5

The Flying Flea C6 is the most feature-packed bike from the brand ever made. It gets a 3.5-inch TFT instrument console that is quite easy to read and use. The screen’s display quality is clear, crisp, and the touch inputs work well. The displays shows readings of SOC (State Of Charge), speed, distance, powerband, torque band, current riding mode, weather information, and range.

The bike gets smartphone connectivity with full-fledged navigation via Google Maps, which is quite useful. It also gets features like theft control, geofencing and SOS for more safety. Apart from this, the bike also has an incognito mode for total privacy.

The FF C6 also gets a remote lock/unlock feature, live tracking, and keyless ignition where you unlock the bike via a passcode or your smartphone. There’s also a USB type-C charging port and a wireless charging pad on the tank, which should make the bike a lot more convenient.

Performance & Range4/5

Motor And Performance

The Royal Enfield electric bike is more about feel than the spec sheet. On paper it might look a bit commuterish, but it is quite fun to ride with its effortless acceleration. For the conditions it is designed for, i.e., city commutes and stop-go traffic, it performs well. The FF C6’s mid-mounted electric motor produces 15.4kW of peak power and 60Nm of peak torque, which is quite adequate to zip past traffic. The top speed is capped at 115kmph, and the bike feels calm and settled, even at this speed.

The Flying Flea C6 has four riding modes: City, Rain, Highway and Sport, which modulate the bike’s throttle response and power delivery. There is also a custom setting that allows riders to tweak the riding experience as per personal preference.

When riding in Highway mode, the bike feels smooth and has linear power delivery, perfect for daily commuting. In Rain mode, the performance is toned down and will feel non-intimidating to newer riders while adding an extra safety layer while riding in slippery conditions. In Sport mode, the bike feels scarily fast, and you might be intimidated by its exciting acceleration.

Battery Specifications

The bike is powered by a 3.91kWh battery pack with a magnesium casing. It is mounted just below the fuel tank and feels well-balanced. The casing also has a finned design to dissipate heat better.

Claimed Vs Real-world Range

The claimed IDC (Indian Driving Conditions) range is 154km, but the real-world range will be 110-120km per charge. This also depends on the weather conditions, road conditions, and riding pattern. With this range, the bike is limited to the city limits, and longer trips may require itinerary planning for charge stops.

Ride & Handling4/5

Underpinnings

The bike is built on the new ‘L’ platform and uses a girder fork and monoshock absorber setup. The bike rolls on 19-inch alloy wheels shod with 90-section tubeless tyres that offer decent grip.

Ride Quality

This suspension setup might feel a bit out of place in 2026 but works well. It feels stable and in control but not plush, as you expect from a commuter motorcycle. The fork absorbs all the small undulations with ease, but the overall setup is a bit on the firmer side.

Handling

This is where the Flying Flea C6 shines. With a kerb weight of just 124kg, the bike is agile and effortless to handle. It flicks around with ease when zipping through traffic and taking U-turns. Out on the highway, the bike feels stable and settled as well.

Braking Performance

The bike is fitted with a 260mm front and a 220mm rear disc brake, which comes with lean-sensitive ABS (Anti-lock Braking System), which is switchable as well. The brakes are just adequate and offer just enough stopping power to the bike.

Safety4/5

The Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 comes equipped with a lot of modern features that make riding the bike a lot safer. The lean-sensitive ABS, cornering traction control, anti-theft features, and even the multiple regen modes are nice additions to the bike. The multiple levels of regen are clearly noticeable when riding and can be toned down, as well as up.

Space & Comfort3/5

Ergonomics

The riding posture is upright and feels like a typical commuter motorcycle, like a Yamaha FZ or the Honda Unicorn. The handlebar is a little narrow, but doesn’t affect the bike’s manoeuvring ability. While the seat height is 823mm, the narrow profile makes it a lot more accessible to a wide range of buyers.

Rider And Pillion Comfort

The bike is quite slim, which makes it quite accessible for shorter riders, but it is very compact and uncomfortable for someone who is taller and on the heavier side of the scale. One interesting thing about the bike is that it doesn’t have foot control. So, the brake lever is mounted on the left handlebar side, and you can now adjust the footpeg for a more comfortable ride.

The pillion seat is nearly unusable, and you can only sit comfortably on it if both the rider and the pillion are leaner. The Flying Flea is essentially a single-seat commuter with some space to carry your backpack or utilities.

Charging & Warranty4/5

Charging Options

The Flying Flea has an onboard charger, and you only need to carry a cable to charge it, further enhancing its utility. The FF C6 takes around 2 hours 16 minutes to charge up fully. Interestingly, you can also modulate the bike’s charging speed through the smartphone app, which is quite unique.

Service & network5/5

Royal Enfield has dealerships in most of the major cities of India. So, getting the Flying Flea C6 or servicing it shouldn’t be an issue at all. But currently, Royal Enfield sells the C6 only in its Bengaluru dealership (Jayanagar), with more to follow soon.
