TVS has revealed three production-ready electric scooters at EICMA 2026 in Milan. The electric lineup consists of the TVS Orbiter, TVS M1-S and TVS X, with each scooter aimed at a considerably different type of EV buyer.
TVS Orbiter Gets Removable Batteries For Europe

Perhaps the most interesting of the three from an Indian perspective is the TVS Orbiter. The European-spec TVS Orbiter will be offered with 1.8 kWh and 3.1 kWh battery options, delivering expected WMTC (World Motorcycle Test Cycle) ranges of 70 km and 105 km, respectively.
More importantly, both batteries are removable. Owners will be able to either charge the battery while it remains installed in the scooter or remove it and connect it to a household socket through a dedicated charging dock.
The European Orbiter is limited to a top speed of 45 kmph, placing it in the European L1e category. It also retains the practicality-focused nature of the scooter with an upright riding position and 34 litres of underseat storage.
Interestingly, the Orbiter sold in India currently uses a 3.1 kWh battery and offers a claimed 158 km IDC range. The European model therefore appears to have been substantially adapted to suit local licensing, charging and usage requirements.
TVS M1-S Is The Electric Maxi-Scooter

Sitting higher up the range is the TVS M1-S, an electric maxi-scooter that was first showcased at EICMA 2025 and has now moved closer to production. It is powered by a 4.2 kWh battery paired with an electric motor outputting 12.5 kW of peak power. TVS claims a top speed of 105 kmph, while charging the battery from 10 to 80% takes around 75 minutes.
The battery has been positioned low in the floorboard, and the scooter offers 26 litres of underseat storage, enough to accommodate a full-face helmet. Integrated network connectivity also allows its connected functions to operate without depending on a paired smartphone.
TVS X Gets More Performance For Europe

The TVS X remains the performance-focused flagship of the company’s electric scooter lineup. In European specification, it features an aluminium frame, 14-inch wheels and dual-channel ABS. Its electric motor produces 11.7 kW of peak power, with TVS claiming a 0-40 kmph time of 2.5 seconds and a top speed of 110 kmph.
Technology continues to be one of the X’s biggest strengths. It comes equipped with a 10.2-inch panoramic touchscreen, full-map navigation, independent LTE connectivity and Android Auto integration. The European TVS X falls under the A1 vehicle category.
What We Think Of This
The three production-ready scooters indicate that TVS is no longer approaching Europe with a single EV product. Instead, it is building a layered lineup: the Orbiter handles affordable city buyers, the M1-S tackles the maxi-scooter space, while the X sits at the top-end, premium performance segment.
TVS has not announced market-specific prices or exact launch dates yet, with those details expected closer to the individual European launches. This also suggests these machines are considerably closer to dealerships than the concepts TVS displayed at the show last year. So, we are quite excited to see what lies in TVS’ future ahead.
