Royal Enfield has showcased the Flying Flea S6 electric scrambler at EICMA 2026 in Milan, giving us another look at its second electric motorcycle. The FF S6 Scrambler was first unveiled at EICMA 2025 and takes a more rugged approach than the road-focused Flying Flea C6. Interestingly, Royal Enfield also teased the S6 performing wheelies, burnouts and stunt jumps, giving us a glimpse of what its electric scrambler is capable of.
Royal Enfield Flying Flea S6: Design And Hardware
The S6 shares its underlying platform with the Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6, but the similarities end with the overall silhouette. It retains the round LED headlight, slim tank-like section and exposed frame, while adding a high-mounted front fender, wide handlebar, knuckle guards and a long, flat enduro-style seat.
Unlike the C6’s distinctive girder-style front fork, the S6 uses a conventional upside-down fork and a rear monoshock. It rides on 19-inch front and 18-inch rear wire-spoke wheels, wrapped in dual-purpose, block-pattern tyres. It also has longer suspension travel and increased ground clearance, making it better suited to broken roads and light off-road trails.
Royal Enfield Flying Flea S6: Performance And Features
Royal Enfield hasn’t revealed the S6’s battery capacity, motor output or claimed range yet. For reference, the Flying Flea C6 uses a 3.91 kWh battery, producing 15.4 kW and offering a claimed 154km IDC range. However, the S6’s final specifications could be different. The S6 gets six riding modes, including a dedicated off-road mode and a customisable setting. Riders can also adjust regenerative braking and traction control intervention.
Another interesting feature is the bidirectional crawl function, which allows the motorcycle to move slowly forwards or backwards. This could prove particularly useful when manoeuvring the bike through tricky terrain. The S6 also gets lean-angle-sensitive ABS, which can be switched off at both wheels for off-road riding.
On the technology front, there’s a 3.5-inch circular TFT touchscreen running Flying Flea’s proprietary operating system. Features include navigation, keyless operation, smartphone connectivity, live location sharing and remote security monitoring. Wireless phone charging and LED lighting are also included.
Royal Enfield Flying Flea S6: Launch And Expected Price
The Flying Flea S6 is scheduled for a summer 2027 global launch, although its India-specific launch date and pricing haven’t been confirmed.
It is expected to be positioned above the C6, which currently starts at Rs 2.79 lakh (ex-showroom). The S6 could also face competition from the upcoming Ultraviolette Shockwave, another lightweight electric motorcycle designed with off-road riding in consideration.
SearchEV Says
The Flying Flea S6 looks like an interesting addition to Royal Enfield’s electric lineup. Rather than building another urban commuter, the company is exploring something more playful, with hardware and electronics designed for occasional off-road adventures.
However, the biggest questions remain unanswered. Its battery capacity, real-world range, weight and pricing will ultimately decide how practical the S6 will be. After all, the fun doesn’t mean much if you’re constantly worrying about having enough range to get back home.
