Royal Enfield unveiled two major electric concepts at its annual Motoverse event in Goa, the Flying Flea S6 and the Himalayan Electric. The display of these models, which were revealed on November 21, 2025, demonstrates the brand’s serious commitment to its electric sub-brand.
Urban Scrambler Details
The Flying Flea S6 (FF.S6) is marketed as an electric motorcycle with a scrambler-style urban look. The Indian market introduction is anticipated towards the end of 2026. The bike is outfitted with an inverted front fork, long-travel suspension, and a chain final drive. It is also equipped with a 19-inch front wheel and an 18-inch rear wheel, which are characteristic of such motorcycles, made for rides on mixed surfaces.
Advanced Ride Tech
The Royal Enfield Flying Flea S6 features a unique finned magnesium battery case, which is crucial for thermal management and weight reduction. The company claims that a proprietary operating system runs on the motorcycle, presented on a classic round TFT screen, which is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. In addition to the 4G, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi connectivity, navigation and media are also supported. There is also a Voice Assist feature and Over-The-Air (OTA) updates for software issues that are continuous to improve the motorcycle’s firmware.
Electric Adventure Test
The electric version of the Himalayan, named the Him-E, was also introduced at the event. Several units were seen being ridden around the venue. The Him-E is currently regarded as a Royal Enfield Version 2.0 test bed. According to the sources from the industry, the model will not be released in its current form, and the technology and developmental learnings will be used to create the future production-ready electric adventure (ADV) motorcycles.
High-End Components
The Him-E is a demonstration of capability, and it showcases various high-end components. The suspension system is electronically adjustable and made by Ohlins, while the bike has its distinctive golden cross-spoke wheels with knobby tires. The braking system consists of Nissin brake calipers mounted radially and paired with a Brembo master cylinder for maximum performance. The battery pack is a load-bearing part of the frame designed and built by the company itself.
Future EV Strategy
The Royal Enfield Flying Flea S6 and the Him-E are both the electric strategy of Royal Enfield, illustrated in two points: the urban-centric, production-ready bike (FF.S6) and the advanced, high-specification technology demonstrator (Him-E) co-development. The company’s priority is to attract a premium buyer segment of electric motorcycles by combining upmarket electric architecture with high-end hardware.
