Royal Enfield launched the Flying Flea C6 in India earlier this month. It is the first electric bike from the legacy manufacturer, and is one of the most feature-loaded Royal Enfields ever made by the brand. If you are planning to buy one, we have compiled a list of all the features the bike gets. Here’s an overview:
Convenience Features
The Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 is equipped with a 3.5-inch TFT instrument console that has smartphone connectivity. It gets a full-fledged Google Maps setup (mirroring), along with smart navigation which analyses the remaining range and shows nearby charging stations along your route. The console shows readouts of the odometer, speedometer, SOC (State of Charge), selected riding mode, remaining range, power band, and even a clock.

The bike also gets a type-C USB port inside the small compartment on the tank that comes with a wireless charging pad, making it more convenient. Also, the footpeg position is customisable (centre and forward setting), which allows you to sit upright or be more comfortable when riding. Apart from this, the bike comes with an onboard charger, eliminating the need for a bulky adapter, and you only need a charging cable that can be connected to any 16A wall socket. In addition to this, you can also modulate the bike’s charging speed through the OEM app, which is a segment-first feature.

Riding Aids
The FFC6 has four riding modes: Eco, Rain, Highway, and Sport, which let you adjust the throttle response, ABS intervention, traction control sensitivity, and regenerative braking levels. There’s also a Custom setting that lets you tweak the setting individually for a more comprehensive and personalised riding experience.
The C6 comes with a cruise control system, making it convenient for highway riders, and also gets a Park mode where the bike can crawl at a slow speed to get out of tight and tricky parking spots.
Safety Features
It comes with a switchable lean-sensitive dual-channel ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) which prevents sudden wheel lock-ups during hard braking situations and gives more control to the rider. The traction control system on the bike is also lean-sensitive, and helps minimise wheelspin in slippery conditions. To make the bike safer, Royal Enfield has also added the coasting and braking regen. It also comes with geo-fencing, theft alerts and an SOS feature.
Other Features
Other bonus features include the retro-styled girder fork, all-LED lighting setup, and even a removable pillion seat, which, when removed, gives the bike a cleaner look.

What We Think
In our opinion, despite being the most feature-packed Royal Enfield, the Flying Flea C6 is more of a lifestyle purchase rather than a commuter bike. It definitely has a lot of features, but what it lacks is the value-for-money quotient. For the Rs 2,79,000 (ex-showroom Bengaluru) price tag it carries, it could be a second bike in your garage if you just want a premium experience, but relying on it for daily commutes, and practicality is what we would recommend against.
