More About The Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2:
The Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2’s Original variant is powered by a 7.1kWh battery pack that gives it a claimed range of 211km. Its electric motor produces 27kW or peak power and 90Nm of peak torque. It also gets 3 levels of regenerative braking (you can unlock up to 10 levels with the Advanced Ride Control Pack that is optional), DSC (Dynamic Stability control), and hill hold control. You also have the option to pick the traction control for some extra money.
The Recon variant adds to the Original and has more range and better performance. Here, you get a 10.3kWh battery pack with a claimed range of 323km. Both the variants have a claimed top speed of 155kmph, but the Recon variant has a bit better acceleration due to its motor producing more peak power of 30kW, and 100Nm.
As far as features are concerned, the F77 Mach 2 is generously equipped with a 5-inch TFT display, connected features and also ride modes. The bike also got the Ultrviolette Gen 3 firmware update that optimised its performance and range. But, this price hike means the buyers have to pay extra for the same hardware package as before.
What We Think
The Ultraviolette F77 Mach 2 is still one of the most exciting electric motorcycles in India, if you are someone looking for something fast, futuristic, and different. But with steadily increasing prices, its value proposition is becoming harder to justify.
For buyers already considering premium ICE motorcycles for a similar price tag, the brand now needs to rely even more on their technology, and ownership experience to justify this premium.
