EQS 580 4Matic Celebration Edition
Mercedes launched the Celebration Edition in June 2025 to mark its strong EV sales growth in India. It focuses on rear-seat luxury, adding executive rear seats that recline up to 38 degrees with lumbar massage. In addition, a Chauffeur package lets rear passengers move the front passenger seat for more legroom. It also gets augmented reality navigation and designer seatbelt buckles. Mercedes made it available in limited numbers, with no changes to the powertrain.
EQS 580 4Matic
The regular EQS 580 4Matic offers the same 523 bhp powertrain and 857 km of ARAI range. It still comes loaded with the MBUX Hyperscreen, massaging front seats, a Burmester 3D sound system and rear entertainment screens. However, it skips the Celebration Edition’s executive rear seats and chauffeur package. Rear passengers still get electrically adjustable, heated seats with climate control.
Mercedes-Benz EQS 580 4Matic Variants: Which to Buy
If you can find one, the Celebration Edition offers better value. It costs about Rs 18 lakh less, yet adds rear-seat comfort features that chauffeur-driven owners will love. However, Mercedes built it in limited numbers, so availability may be restricted. Otherwise, the regular EQS 580 4Matic remains a fully loaded luxury EV. To compare it with its German rival, see the BMW i7 variants.
