India’s electric scooter market remained quite healthy in June 2026. The TVS iQube once again emerged as India’s best-selling electric scooter. TVS registered 46,296 units of the TVS iQube range (which includes the TVS iQube, iQube S, and iQube ST), up from 42,147 units in May 2026. This is a 9.8 % MoM (Month-on-Month) growth. The consistent demand for the TVS iQube has helped the brand maintain its lead in one of the most competitive segments in the country. Here’s the full list of the top 10 performers:

Bajaj Auto Takes The Second Spot
Bajaj Auto continued its strong run with 41,843 units during June. The company posted a 9.7% MoM growth, driven primarily by the Chetak range. The Bajaj Chetak range includes 5 scooters: Chetak C2501, C3001, C3501, C3502, and the C3503. Bajaj remains the closest challenger to TVS and continues to narrow the gap between the two market leaders. It will be interesting to see if Bajaj will overtake TVS in the upcoming months.
Ather And Hero Vida Continue With Same Momentum
Ather Energy sits in the third spot, with 30,128 units. It is a 10% sales increase when compared to the last month’s 27,395 units.
Simultaneously, Hero MotoCorp’s EV sub-brand, Vida, also had another strong month with 21,469 units, growing 13.7% MoM. The brand continues to cement its position in the mass market space with its scooters, like the Hero Vida V2, and the Vida VX2, which is also one of the most affordable scooters in India, with prices starting under Rs 50,000.
Ola Electric Stays In The Top Five
Ola Electric finished fifth after selling 15,795 scooters in June 2026. Although its 4.9 % growth is quite lower than several of its rivals, the company remains active in the market. We think that due to the recent service challenges, the brand is facing a backlash, but if they improve the product reliability and aftersales experience, they can still make a comeback, and hopefully we might see them competing with the big guns again.
Greaves Electric Records Biggest Growth Among All Scooter Brands
Among all of these best-selling brands, Greaves Electric emerged as the biggest beneficiary in June 2026. The company registered 10,140 units, compared to 7,193 units in May 2026, which is a massive 41% month-on-month growth – the highest among all the established brands in the top ten list.
River Mobility is also on the steady rise with 4,255 sales, while BGauss recorded 3,823 units. One of the standout performers was E-Sprinto Green, an underdog, which almost doubled its sales and got 96% sales growth. The company sold 1,878 units in June 2026, up from 955 units in May.
Bounce Electric rounded up the top ten list despite a slight decline, registering 1,283 units, with sales dipping by 5% from May 2026.
What We Think
The June 2026 sales numbers show the rapid growth of India’s electric scooter market. TVS iQube leads the pack, with Bajaj Auto competing neck-and-neck with it. Ather has firmly established itself as a premium scooter maker and takes the third spot. Further down the order, Hero Vida and Greaves Electric got healthy sales increases, and E-Sprinto Green stole the limelight with the highest month-on-month growth. We think that the upcoming months are going to be quite crucial, as there is a festive season coming up, and we could see a radical shift in the sales rankings.
