The VF7 is a mid-size SUV with a sleek, coupe-like roofline. Its 2,840 mm wheelbase is among the longest in its segment, which helps rear-seat legroom. Battery and Range Options
VinFast offers the VF7 with two battery sizes. First, the Earth uses a 59.6 kWh pack with 438 km of claimed range, suited to city use. Next, the Wind trims get a 70.8 kWh battery, stretching claimed range to 532 km, the longest in the line-up. Meanwhile, the AWD Sky trims use the same bigger battery but return 510 km, since they power two motors. In real-world driving, expect roughly 400 to 420 km from the Wind.
Motors and Performance
The VF7 comes in three states of tune. For example, the Earth makes 174 bhp, which feels smooth for daily use. Meanwhile, the Wind trims step up to 201 bhp and reach 100 km/h in 9.5 seconds. Most impressively, the Sky trims use two motors for 349 bhp and 500 Nm, sprinting to 100 km/h in just 5.8 seconds. In addition, drivers can choose Eco, Normal or Sport modes, along with four levels of regenerative braking.
Charging Times
On a DC fast charger, the Earth goes from 10 to 70% in about 24 minutes, while the 70.8 kWh versions take about 28 minutes. At home, a 7.2 kW wall box fully charges it in roughly 10 to 11 hours. Therefore, overnight charging works well for daily driving, while quick top-ups suit highway trips.

Up front, the VF7 uses MacPherson strut suspension, along with disc brakes on all four wheels. Higher trims ride on 19-inch alloys with 245/50 tyres. For safety, the VF7 has earned a 5-star Bharat NCAP rating. However, it comes with a puncture repair kit instead of a spare wheel.
