How Features Differ Across Trims

The VF6 comes in three trims. First, the Earth covers the basics well, with a 12.9-inch screen, 360-degree camera and 6-way powered driver seat. Next, the Wind brings the biggest jump, adding a head-up display, ventilated seats, dual-zone climate and Level 2 ADAS. Finally, the Wind Infinity adds a panoramic glass roof on top. As a result, the Wind offers the best balance of features for most buyers.

Exterior Features

The VF6 stands out with its sharp, Italian-inspired design. Up front, a V-shaped LED light bar stretches across the nose, with LED projector headlamps below. At the rear, a matching V-shaped LED signature ties the look together. In addition, machine-cut alloys, power-folding ORVMs and rain-sensing wipers come included. On higher trims, roof rails and an edge-to-edge glass roof add more presence.

Interior and Comfort

Inside, the cabin feels clean and minimal. For instance, soft-touch materials cover the dashboard and doors, while a piano-key style gear selector adds a unique touch. On the Wind trims, vegan leather seats, ventilated front seats and an 8-way powered driver seat improve comfort. Rear passengers get their own AC vents, a centre armrest and a fast 90W USB Type-C port. Moreover, the 60:40 split rear seats and 423-litre boot keep things practical.

Infotainment and Technology

A driver-facing 12.9-inch touchscreen handles almost everything, including wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Notably, the VF6 has no separate instrument cluster, so the Wind trims add a coloured head-up display to show key information. Through the VinFast app, you can control the AC, doors, tailgate and charging remotely. In addition, over-the-air updates keep the software current, and special Camp, Pet, Wash and Valet modes add everyday convenience.

Driving and EV Features

The VF6 offers several useful driving features. For example, drivers can switch between Eco, Normal and Sport modes. In addition, four levels of regenerative braking let you control how much the car slows down when you lift off. Meanwhile, the app lets you set charging targets, schedule charging and find nearby charging stations. Together, these features make the VF6 easy to live with as an EV.

Safety and ADAS

Safety is a strong point. Every VF6 gets 7 airbags, ESC, traction control, hill start assist and tyre pressure monitoring. Moreover, a 360-degree camera and blind spot detection come standard. On the Wind trims, Level 2 ADAS adds adaptive cruise control, lane centering, automatic lane change assist and front and rear emergency braking. As a result, it has earned a 5-star Bharat NCAP rating.

Before You Buy

Keep a few points in mind before you book. First, the VF6 has no separate driver display, so the Earth shows speed and other details only on the central screen. Second, most controls, including the AC, sit inside the touchscreen. Third, the ventilated seats and ADAS require stepping up to the Wind.
