| Variant | Power | Claimed range | Ex-showroom | On-road, Bengaluru (approx.) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Earth | 174 bhp | 468 km | Rs 18.19 lakh | Rs 20.19 lakh |
| Wind | 201 bhp | 463 km | Rs 19.59 lakh | Rs 21.74 lakh |

VinFast VF6 Earth
The Earth is the entry trim, and it packs plenty for the price. It gets a 12.9-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, along with LED projector headlamps and a 6-way powered driver seat. For safety, it offers 7 airbags, a 360-degree camera and blind spot detection. Under the hood, its motor makes 174 bhp and 250 Nm, with the longest range in the line-up at 468 km. Therefore, it suits city buyers who want safety and range without paying for extras.
VinFast VF6 Wind
For about Rs 1.4 lakh more, the Wind adds both power and features. First, output rises to 201 bhp and 310 Nm, cutting the 0 to 100 km/h time to 8.9 seconds. Next, the cabin gains ventilated front seats, an 8-way powered driver seat, vegan leather upholstery and dual-zone climate control with a PM1.0 filter. In addition, it gets a head-up display and a full Level 2 ADAS suite with adaptive cruise control. As a result, the Wind offers the best overall value.
VinFast VF6 Wind Infinity
The Wind Infinity sits at the top and costs just Rs 50,000 more than the Wind. For that, it adds an edge-to-edge panoramic glass roof, which makes the cabin feel brighter and more spacious. Otherwise, it shares the Wind’s motor, range and features. So, choose it if the glass roof matters to you.
Colour Options
All three trims come in the same seven colours: Infinity Blanc, Jet Black, Desat Silver, Zenith Grey, Solar Ruby, Ivy Green and Moonlight Ocean. Notably, even the base Earth gets the full colour range, which isn’t common in this segment.
Price Changes Since Launch
VinFast launched the VF6 in September 2025 at an introductory price of Rs 16.49 lakh. Since then, prices have risen twice. In total, the Earth now costs about Rs 1.7 lakh more, while the Wind trims cost about Rs 1.8 lakh more than at launch.
Which VF6 Variant Should You Buy?
For most buyers, the Wind is the sweet spot, since Rs 1.4 lakh brings more power, ventilated seats, a head-up display and ADAS. However, the Earth makes sense if you mainly drive in the city and want the longest range for less. Meanwhile, the Wind Infinity is worth it only if you really want the glass roof. What's good
-
Italian Design: One of the most stylish and premium-looking EV in the ₹18–22 lakh segment.
-
Safety & Warranty: A 5-star BNCAP rating combined with a 10-year warranty is a massive confidence booster.
-
Punchy Performance: The 201 PS motor makes it a genuinely fun car to drive on open roads.
What's not so good
-
Ergonomics: The lack of a physical instrument cluster and physical AC controls can be frustrating for traditional drivers.
-
Firm Ride: The suspension can feel a bit “thumpy” over broken city roads.
-
Rear Seating: The high floor pan means rear-seat passengers don’t get the best under-thigh support for long journeys.
