VinFast has just announced a flat Rs 90,000 price hike for its popular VF 6 electric SUV. This upward revision applies immediately across the entire variant lineup. Interestingly, this is the second time the automaker has adjusted the cost of this specific model in less than twelve months.
The New Pricing Structure
When the VF 6 first broke cover in September 2025, it came with a starting price of Rs 16.49 lakh. That introductory window closed in January 2026 with the first round of price adjustments. Now, the company has applied another uniform Rs 90,000 premium across the board. The base Earth trim now starts slightly above the eighteen lakh mark. Meanwhile, the fully loaded Wind Infinity trim crosses the twenty lakh barrier. To provide complete clarity, here is the updated ex-showroom pricing table highlighting the differences.

Battery Performance and Range
The underlying mechanical setup stays exactly the same. All three variants draw power from a single 59.6 kWh lithium ion battery pack. However, the power output changes depending on your chosen trim. The entry-level Earth variant uses a front-mounted electric motor producing 174 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque. This conservative tune yields the highest certified driving range of 468 km on a single charge.
Stepping up to the Wind and Wind Infinity variants unlocks a more powerful motor setup. These models deliver 201 horsepower and 310 Nm of torque, pushing the SUV from a standstill to 100 kmph in 8.9 seconds. Because of the extra performance, the claimed driving range drops slightly to 463 km. Owners can recharge the battery from 10 per cent to 70 per cent in about 25 minutes using a 100 kW fast charger.
Features and Safety Equipment
The VF 6 continues to offer a very strong equipment list to justify its premium placement. The minimalist cabin centres around a large 12.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system. While the base Earth trim provides essentials like automatic climate control and cruise control, the Wind and Wind Infinity trims bring in ventilated front seats, vegan leather upholstery, an advanced head-up display, and dual-zone climate control. The top Infinity trim exclusively offers a large panoramic glass roof with a motorised sunshade.
Safety-wise, the VF7 gets a 360-degree surround view camera, a tyre pressure monitoring system, and a suite of Level 2 ADAS features.
