Mahindra has launched the updated ‘Born Electric’ coupe SUV – the BE 6 has been rebadged and is now called the Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq in India. The new Mahindra electric SUV is designed around the Mahindra INGLO architecture, known for its high-strength design and an improved software-integrated digital ecosystem. It also gets a new interior layout, advanced battery integration, and flexible pricing with the BaaS (Battery As A Service) model. New 2026 Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq Exterior Design: 

The new 2026 Mahindra BE 6 Sporteq retains the coupe SUV stance of the BE series, featuring aggressive aerodynamic attributes and track-inspired body architecture; these provide the BE 6 Sporteq with a sporty and performance-orientated appeal. The Fascia: The BE 6 Sporteq has similar design elements as the BE 6, but the new one now gets a more aggressive bumper design, integrating the air vents that functionally offer aerodynamic efficiency. The BE 6 Sporteq also features a lower-slung nose construction and a sculpted hood scoop to channel air seamlessly for aerodynamic performance.

For resonance with the original BE 6 design attribution, the Sporteq model also features a captivating C-shaped LED daytime running light setup (DRLs); this forms the framework for its full LED headlight design. The fascia also boasts an aggressive glossy black treatment on the bumper section, providing a premium appeal. The lower bumper section gets silver panelling too, resembling a functional skid plate, all while remaining relevant to contemporary aesthetics.  

The Side Profile: This section of the new BE 6 Sporteq features short overhangs, glossy wheel arch treatment, and a sloping roofline, with well-contoured construction to provide a muscular look. The vehicle also gets electrically functioning flush-door handles for a reduction in aerodynamic drag. The large 19-inch aerodynamic alloy wheel construction ties up this well-designed section. 

The Rear Section: This portion of the BE 6 Spoteq is as aggressive as the fascia, with few design incorporations that make it stand out as unique; the new coupe SUV gets an aggressive split roof spoiler, a sloping glass line, and a full-width LED lighting configuration with a customisable display. In fact, the custom interactive lighting is a unique and new addition to the latest 2026 BE Sporteq.

The cabin is where the major difference between the older BE 6 and BE 6 Sporteq is clearly evident; the updated BE 6 Sporteq eliminates the driver-centric halo-loop-design cockpit.
