Ather Energy’s family-orientated electric scooter, codenamed the EL01, will officially feature with the nameplate Ather Konarc. A few details of the new Ather Konarc have leaked ahead of its launch, which is expected to take place on August 29th, 2026, at the Ather Community Day event. Official details, pricing, and specifications are to be announced during the 2026 company event in India.

Ather Konarc Design Explained:
The upcoming Ather Konarc will debut with a full steel body architecture, based on Ather’s EL Platform. The new architecture moves away from the use of aluminium frame construction seen in the current lineup of Ather 450 series scooters. The Front: The upcoming Ather Konarc will feature a clean front apron design integrating a sleek, laterally positioned LED lighting setup for a futuristic electric vehicle appeal. The front section also houses a 14-inch alloy wheel designed to complement the futuristic appearance and bold stance. The front body panels are well contoured and flush, featuring a cowl section that blends neatly.
The Side Profile: The side section features muscular body panelling with a prominent and sharp crease to provide a feel of high-strength construction and a bolder appearance. The Konarc from Ather also gets a single flat seating arrangement for 2 persons, optimised for comfort and better ergonomics. The flat floorboard of the Konarc also offers sufficient foot room and luggage space.
The Rear Section: Coming to this section, the Ather Konarc boasts a taller stance and a sleek, wrapped LED lighting element for a modern appeal. The rear also features a strong grab handle for the pillion to hold on to and has dedicated accessory points for a luggage rack and pillion backrest. At the rear, the scooter gets a 12-inch wheel fitment for seamless proportionality.
