Despite its huge power, the Turbo claims up to 637 km, almost matching the 4S Black Edition. Naturally, using its full performance will cut real-world range sharply. On the fastest chargers, it adds 10 to 80% in about 18 minutes. At home, an 11 kW charger refills it overnight.
Taycan Turbo Performance and Handling
Launch control unlocks the Turbo’s full 872 bhp, delivering acceleration that rivals far pricier supercars. The rear two-speed gearbox helps it launch hard, then cruise efficiently at highway speeds. Moreover, standard rear-axle steering makes it more agile in tight corners and more stable at high speed. Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus with an electronic rear differential lock sharpens its cornering further. Adaptive air suspension also keeps the ride comfortable on rough roads.
Porsche Taycan Turbo Features
Beyond its performance hardware, the Turbo comes well equipped. It gets HD-Matrix LED headlights, Turbonite accents inside and out, and a Bose sound system. The curved 16.8-inch cluster, 10.9-inch touchscreen and 8.4-inch lower screen make up the cockpit. In addition, a leather interior package, wireless Apple CarPlay and Porsche Voice Pilot come standard.
What the Turbo Misses
Even at this price, some features remain optional. These include Porsche Active Ride, ceramic composite brakes and the Burmester 3D sound system. Likewise, the panoramic roof with Variable Light Control and Porsche InnoDrive cost extra. Therefore, check your final specification carefully when configuring the car.
