With the larger 105 kWh battery as standard, the Black Edition claims up to 635 km. It also accepts the Taycan’s fastest charging rate of 320 kW, adding 10 to 80% in about 18 minutes on the quickest chargers. At home, an 11 kW charger refills it overnight.
What the Black Edition Adds Over the 4S
The Black Edition bundles several options that cost extra on the regular 4S. First, the bigger 105 kWh battery adds range and power. Second, HD-Matrix headlights and 21-inch black Aero wheels sharpen the look. Inside, a Bose sound system and a panoramic glass roof add comfort. Moreover, surround view with Active Parking Assist makes parking this low, wide sedan much easier.
Black Edition Design
True to its name, the Black Edition gets a dark makeover. Black exterior accents replace the usual bright trim, while black Aero wheels complete the stealthy stance. Inside, an all-black cabin and illuminated Black Edition door sills add exclusivity. However, buyers can still pick from a wide range of body colours.
Porsche Taycan 4S Black Edition Features
Beyond its extras, the Black Edition keeps every standard 4S feature. These include adaptive air suspension with Smart Lift, a curved 16.8-inch cluster and a 10.9-inch touchscreen. It also gets heated front seats, wireless Apple CarPlay and Porsche Voice Pilot. However, it still misses rear-axle steering, Porsche Active Ride, a head-up display and Porsche InnoDrive.
