Ultraviolette Automotive has officially confirmed that deliveries for its new Tesseract will begin in India during the second quarter of 2026. The company is taking extra time to refine the bike’s advanced cooling systems and software to ensure it handles India’s diverse riding conditions perfectly.
This new timeline moves the launch slightly further out as the brand focuses on local testing. By starting deliveries in early 2026, Ultraviolette aims to offer a high-performance EV that bridges the gap between daily city commutes and long-distance travel.
High Performance Specs
The Tesseract is built to be the fastest EV, and it features a powerful motor of 5 kWh and 6 kWh that allows it to reach a top speed of 160 km/h, making it one of the quickest electric bikes in its segment. The bike is designed with a heavy focus on aerodynamics to help it cut through the air, which helps the battery last longer during high-speed highway rides.
Long Driving Range
To support long trips, the Tesseract offers a certified range of 307 km on a single charge. The bike’s big battery, 3.5 kWh and 6 kWh, works with fast-charging tech, so you can quickly recharge at highway stations. It also has a smart cooling system that keeps the battery from overheating during quick charges or in hot conditions.
Smart Riding Features
The EV is equipped with a range of smart features, starting with a large 7-inch TFT display that provides easy-to-read information, such as navigation and battery level. It offers multiple riding modes, allowing you to conserve energy in city traffic or unleash full power when riding off-road or tackling steep slopes. All the features are designed to give riders greater control and confidence, whether you’re commuting daily or long rides. Additionally, it includes Violette AI, Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) features, haptic feedback, dual dashcams, and an Omnisense mirror.
| Feature | Base Variant (3.5 kWh) | Top Variant (6 kWh) |
| Ex-Showroom Price | ₹1.45 Lakh | ₹2.00 Lakh |
| Claimed Range | 162 km | 261 km |
| Top Speed | 125 km/h | 125 km/h |

Advanced Design Build
The Tesseract has a tough, rugged design with long-travel suspension, so it handles rough roads and uneven terrain with ease. It uses a lightweight frame to improve handling and reduce the load on the battery-operated system. The bike also includes adjustable footpegs and a comfortable seat height, which are important for riders who plan to spend many hours on their zero-emission vehicle.
Future Market Role
With the Tesseract, Ultraviolette is expanding its lineup beyond its current sportbikes. The brand is rolling out dedicated service hubs and charging points to support its new plug-in adventure bikes. With local production in Bengaluru, they’re keeping costs in check while pushing the limits of what an electric motorcycle can do on Indian roads.
