Ather Konarc vs Ather Rizta Z: Design And Build Quality

      Exterior Design

The Ather Konarc: The Konarc from Ather features a steel architecture, with a well-contoured geometry to enhance appeal and durability; the vehicle’s strong construction makes it less prone to city-run wear and tear – a factor that complements its reliability too. The panelling on the e-scooter also comes with a lightweight construction for seamless rideability in city stop-and-go traffic.

In terms of styling and practicality, the Ather Konarc features a handlebar-mounted LED headlight, with an LED DRL lighting element – laterally integrated on the front apron. The side section of the scooter also prominently displays contoured panels supported by premium paint schemes. In fact, the Ather Konarc comes in 4 distinctive colour schemes:

      • Quartz White And Blue (Dual Tone)
      • Majestic Grey And Black (Dual Tone)
      • Celestial Gold And Blue (Dual Tone)
      • Lumen Copper And Black (Dual Tone)

Apart from these, to further enhance the design of the Ather Konarc, this electric scooter comes with wide-profile tyres, offering high grip and a proportionate stance while providing good clearance. With tyres measuring 14 inches wide and 14-inch wheels (front), the Ather Konarc is built to ride through potholes and uneven routes with high stability. Overall, the Ather Konarc has the right design proportions.

The Ather Rizta Z: The Rizta Z is designed around Ather Energy’s hybrid architecture, with composite outer panelling to offer a lightweight, performance-focused attribute. Featuring a sleek horizontal headlight bar, the Rizta Z looks contemporary in appearance, staying relevant. This electric scooter also comes with a wider-profile section to offer a much more butch appearance.

In terms of practicality, the Rizta Z from Ather Energy is designed to feature a wider profile to integrate a wider and longer seating arrangement (single-piece seat with bolstering). The same attribute helps it offer more underseat space to accommodate the rider’s essentials. Ather Energy has also prioritised vehicle stability under load-induced conditions and with rider and pillion weight. For the same purpose, the Rizta Z gets 12-inch wheels; they are wrapped with tubeless tyres.

Apart from these, the Ather Rizta Z comes in multiple appealing colour palettes to suit modern design requirements; the following are the colour options the Ather Rizta Z comes in:

      • Terracotta Red Duo (Dual Tone)
      • Siachen White Mono
      • Deccan Grey Mono
      • Pangong Blue Mono
      • Deccan Grey Duo (Dual Tone)
      • Cardamom Green Duo (Dual Tone)
      • Pangong Blue Duo (Dual Tone)
      • Alphonso Yellow Duo (Dual Tone)

Takeaway: The Ather Konarc is designed for durability, featuring metal construction (Panelling) and larger-proportion tyres to enhance rough urban route suitability. Meanwhile, the Ather Rizta Z gets composite panelling for a lightweight nature and gets wider proportions for more space.

      Cockpit Design

The Ather Konarc: This electric family commuter scooter comes with a large 7-inch ‘Deep View’ instrument cluster with AtherStack running a seamless user interface and controls; it helps with Google Maps functionalities, vehicle alerts, and ride diagnostics. The handlebar of the vehicle also features tactile and ergonomic switchgear for easy access to the interface and ride systems.

The Ather Rizta Z: This electric scooter comes with a 7-inch TFT display offering full touch controls to seamlessly navigate through the user interface, supported by AtherStack integrations. The setup offers functions such as WhatsApp message display on the screen, traction system control (Skid Control), and call and music control functionalities, among others.

Takeaway: The Ather Rizta Z comes with more safety tech to enhance ride and stability, supported by software integrations with extra system protections. Meanwhile, the Ather Konarc utilises a seamless user interface with straightforward usability to ensure urban commutes remain easy.
