Ather Konarc Colours Explained: Why Your Colour Choice Also Decides Your Feature List

A four-colour palette available on the Ather Konarc S Line is split across variants and gets a diverse feature list.

      Quick Reads

      • The Ather Konarc S is offered in four paint and accent combinations, but only two of them are available on the entry-level 100 km IDC variant
      • Celestial Gold and Lumen Copper are reserved for the 125 km and 161 km range variants
      • Ather has priced the Konarc S from Rs 99,999, and a Konarc Z variant with a TFT touchscreen is coming soon

Ather Energy built its name on the 450 series and then went mass market with the Rizta. The Konarc is its next play at that same everyday buyer, a metal-bodied scooter with a steel unibody chassis, priced from Rs 99,999 for the base version.

The colour sheet on the Ather Konarc is tied to the variant ladder. Let’s explore all the colour options available on the new Ather mass-market e-scooter.

The Konarc Colour Line-up at a Glance

Colour Combination Starting Price Konarc S 100 km Konarc S 125 km Konarc S 161 km
Quartz White + Blue Rs 99,000 Available Available Available
Majestic Grey + Black Rs 99,000 Available Available Available
Celestial Gold + Blue Rs 1,21,999 Not offered Available Available
Lumen Copper + Black Rs 1,21,999 Not offered Available Available
      Total colours on offer 2 4 4

The base 100 km variant gets two colours. Step up to the 125 km or 161 km battery, and the palette doubles, adding a gold tone and a copper tone that do not exist on the base variant.

      Quartz White + Blue

This is the colour every Konarc buyer can access, regardless of which variant they settle on. A white body panel set against blue trim pieces is not a bold statement, and it does not try to be one. It is the sort of colour that photographs well outside a showroom and does not look dated in three years. White bodywork also tends to run a touch cooler under direct sun compared with darker shades, which matters more than people expect on a scooter that spends its life parked outdoors in Indian heat. If the plan is to keep the scooter for a long stretch and eventually sell it on, white with a blue accent is the safer bet purely because it appeals to the widest set of second owners.

      Majestic Grey + Black

The second colour available across all three range variants pairs a grey body with black elements, essentially a monochrome treatment. It reads a little more grown-up than the white and blue combination and hides road grime better on a daily commute through dusty stretches. Grey and black together is not a flashy choice, but that is rather the point. Riders who want a scooter that looks clean after a week of use without much washing tend to gravitate here. Since this shade sits on every variant, it also becomes the default pick for fleet or family buyers who are choosing the base 100 km version purely on price and do not want to compromise on how the scooter looks doing it.

      Celestial Gold + Blue

Here is where the palette opens up, but only if the wallet stretches to the 125 km or 161 km variant. Celestial Gold paired with blue trim is a warmer, richer tone than anything on the base Konarc, and it is clearly meant to separate the higher variants visually as well as on the spec sheet. Buyers picking this colour are, in effect, also picking the 7-inch DeepView display over the smaller 4.2-inch unit on the base model, hence the extra premium

      Lumen Copper + Black

The fourth and final shade in the current line-up sits in copper tones against black trim, again limited to the 125 km and 161 km variants. Copper as a body colour is still uncommon on Indian two-wheelers outside of a handful of premium trims, so it does stand out in a parking lot full of white and grey scooters. Paired with the black accents, it leans toward a slightly more mature look rather than a loud one. Since it shares its availability rules with Celestial Gold, the same logic applies.

      The Verdict

For a scooter aimed squarely at first-time EV buyers and daily commuters, four colours is not a huge palette, and Ather has clearly chosen restraint over variety. What makes the Konarc’s colour sheet worth a second look is not the shades themselves but how they are rationed. Quartz White and Majestic Grey are there for anyone, on any budget within the range. Celestial Gold and Lumen Copper are there for buyers who are already paying for the longer-range variants, and the colour becomes a small visual reward for that decision rather than a standalone choice. Anyone cross-shopping the Konarc S variants would do well to decide on range and braking hardware first. The colour, in this case, will follow naturally from that decision, not the other way around.
