Why the Safety Upgrades Matter
The Exclusive’s biggest advantage lies in its safety kit. For instance, ESC (Electronic Stability Control) helps prevent skids during sudden swerves, which matters on a tall, light car like the Comet. Next, hill hold stops the car from rolling back on flyovers and steep parking ramps. In addition, the electronic parking brake frees up space and makes parking on slopes easier. Finally, rear disc brakes give more consistent stopping power than drums.
A More Premium Cabin
Inside, the Exclusive feels a step above the lower trims. To begin with, leatherette seats replace the fabric upholstery, which also makes them easier to clean. Next, a 4-speaker audio system improves sound quality over the Excite. Moreover, a smart key lets you unlock and start the car while the key stays in your pocket. Of course, the 10.25-inch touchscreen, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and rear parking camera carry over.

If you drive in hilly areas or busy flyovers, the extra safety alone justifies the upgrade. However, for flat city routes on a budget, the Excite remains good value.
Exclusive or Exclusive FC?
The Exclusive FC costs about Rs 27,000 more and adds faster 7.4 kW AC charging. As a result, a full charge drops from about 7 hours to around 3.5 hours. If you charge overnight at home, the regular Exclusive is enough. On the other hand, pick the FC version if you depend on shorter daytime top-ups.
Things to Consider
At this price, it’s worth comparing the Comet with slightly larger rivals. For example, the Tata Tiago EV offers six airbags, DC fast charging and a proper boot. By contrast, the Comet Exclusive still has only two airbags and almost no boot space with the rear seats up. So, the Comet suits buyers who value its tiny size and easy parking above all else.
