What the Launch Edition Adds
Over the CLA 250+ AMG Line, the Launch Edition costs Rs 5 lakh more and brings several upgrades. Most notably, a third screen for the front passenger completes the three-screen MBUX Superscreen. The front seats gain a massage function alongside heating and electric adjustment. In addition, it gets edition-specific 19-inch wheels, illuminated door sills, metal pedals and the KEYLESS-GO package.
Exterior Design
The Launch Edition makes a strong visual statement. Up front, a grille lit by 142 illuminated stars sits between star-shaped LED DRLs and a connected light bar. At the back, connected LED tail lamps stretch across the boot, and the rear camera hides neatly under the star badge. Frameless doors, flush handles and a fixed panoramic glass roof complete the sleek look.
Mercedes-Benz CLA EV Launch Edition Features
Inside, the Superscreen combines a 10.25-inch driver display, a 14-inch central touchscreen and a passenger display. It runs Mercedes’ new MB.OS, with an MBUX Virtual Assistant that integrates ChatGPT and Google Gemini. Navigation uses Google Maps with EV route planning. Furthermore, an illuminated star-pattern dashboard, AMG upholstery and an AMG steering wheel add a premium, sporty feel. Six 100W USB-C ports keep every device charged.
Safety and Driver Assistance
The Launch Edition gets front, side and curtain airbags, plus ISOFIX mounts. Its MB.DRIVE system includes DISTRONIC adaptive cruise control, Active Lane Keeping Assist and evasive steering assist. Moreover, Blind Spot Assist Plus and Exit Warning protect passengers when opening doors.
