How Features Change Across Variants

The eVitara comes in three trims. First, the Delta already covers the essentials, including dual screens, automatic climate control, push-button start and 7 airbags. Next, the Zeta adds only a few extras, mainly a wireless charger and a reverse camera. Finally, the Alpha brings the big upgrades, such as ventilated seats, a 360-degree camera and Level 2 ADAS. Notably, the Delta uses the 49 kWh battery, while the Zeta and Alpha use the larger 61 kWh pack.

Exterior Features

The eVitara has a bold, chunky SUV look. Up front, NEXTré 3-point matrix LED DRLs give it a distinctive signature, while the Alpha adds LED projector headlamps and LED fog lamps. Along the sides, 18-inch alloys with aero covers sit under black wheel-arch cladding. At the rear, matching 3-point LED tail lamps and a roof spoiler complete the design. Interestingly, a smart grille with active shutters also helps airflow and efficiency.

Interior and Comfort

Inside, the cabin feels a clear step up for Maruti. For instance, a twin-deck floating console and soft-touch dual-tone materials give it a premium feel. In the back, the rear seats slide and recline in a 60:40 split, so you can trade legroom for boot space. Moreover, rear AC vents, multi-colour ambient lighting and USB Type-C ports in both rows add everyday comfort. On the top Alpha, ventilated front seats help a lot in hot weather, and a fixed glass roof brightens the cabin.

Infotainment and Technology

The dashboard pairs a 10.1-inch touchscreen with a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display. Both wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay come standard, and an Infinity by Harman sound system with a subwoofer handles audio. In addition, the “Hi Suzuki” voice assistant understands natural commands. Through Suzuki Connect, you also get remote controls, smartwatch connectivity and Alexa support. Helpfully, the navigation app can plan trips and add charging stops automatically.

EV and Driving Features

The eVitara includes several EV-specific features. For example, battery preconditioning warms or cools the battery before charging for faster sessions. Drivers can also switch between Eco, Normal and Sport modes, plus a Snow mode for slippery roads. Meanwhile, a regeneration boost function adds extra braking energy recovery when needed. Together, these features make the eVitara easy to drive and charge.

Safety and ADAS

Safety is one of the eVitara’s biggest strengths. Every version gets 7 airbags, ESP, hill hold, TPMS and an electronic parking brake with auto hold. In addition, multi-collision braking helps prevent secondary impacts after a crash. On the Alpha, Level 2 ADAS adds adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert and automatic emergency braking. As a result, it has earned a 5-star Bharat NCAP rating.

Before You Buy

There are a few things to keep in mind. First, the Delta skips a reverse camera, which many buyers expect at this level. Second, the Zeta adds very little over the Delta besides the bigger battery, so compare carefully. Third, the glass roof is fixed and doesn’t open.
