Extended Range Battery and Performance
The HTK Plus ER’s 51.4 kWh battery claims 526 km, 83 km more than the 42 kWh variants. In real-world driving, that works out to roughly 410 to 440 km, enough for a Bengaluru to Chennai trip on one charge. In addition, its 169 bhp motor is 36 bhp stronger, reaching 100 km/h in about 8.1 seconds. As a result, highway overtakes feel much more relaxed.
Kia Syros EV HTK Plus ER Features
Over the 42 kWh HTK Plus, the ER variant adds an electric parking brake with auto hold, which makes stop-and-go traffic easier. It also gets auto headlamps with escort function, glossy black roof rails and a retractable roof assist handle. In addition, it keeps paddle shifters with i-Pedal, cruise control and the frunk. For safety, it offers 6 airbags, ESC and rollover sensors.
What It Misses
The HTK Plus ER prioritises range over comfort features. It doesn’t get ventilated front or rear seats, a powered driver seat or a wireless phone charger. In addition, it misses front and side parking sensors. Premium extras like Harman Kardon audio and ADAS also come only on higher variants.
