The claimed IDC range is 146 km, but real-world range depends heavily on the mode you choose. Since Eco mode caps speed at 45 km/h, most city riders will use Ride mode and see about 75 km. As a result, a rider covering 35 km a day should plan to charge every two days.
Charging Options
The Plus 3.4 kWh uses two removable packs, so you can carry them indoors and charge from any socket. At home, the included 580 W charger takes about 4 hours 44 minutes to reach 80%. Moreover, the scooter supports DC fast charging on Vida’s network, reaching 80% in about an hour. You can also charge the batteries while they stay in the scooter.
Hero Vida VX2 Plus 3.4 kWh Features
The Plus adds useful upgrades over the Go versions. A 4.3-inch TFT display offers Bluetooth, turn-by-turn navigation and call alerts. Moreover, the Boost function delivers a short burst of extra power for quick overtakes. A two-way throttle handles reverse and regenerative braking. The Vida app also brings geofencing, remote immobilisation and OTA updates, while crash and fall alerts come standard.
Plus 3.4 kWh vs Plus 4.4 kWh
For about Rs 20,000 more, the Hero Vida VX2 Plus 4.4 kWh adds 41 km of claimed range and a higher 90 km/h top speed. Therefore, riders with long commutes should consider stepping up. Meanwhile, buyers who don’t need Sport mode can save about Rs 10,000 with the Hero Vida VX2 Go 3.4 kWh, which offers the same range.
