The BGauss C12i EX is priced at Rs 1,09,990, the MAX C12i 2.0 costs Rs 1,28,990, and the MAX C12 3.0 at Rs 1,34,990 (all prices are ex-showroom).

What variants are available with the BGauss MAX C12?

The regular BGauss C12 range consists of three variants – C12i EX, MAX C12i 2.0 and MAX C12 3.0. The newer C12 MaxR sits above these models but gets significantly different specifications and is listed separately.

What is the range of the BGauss MAX C12?

The C12i EX has a claimed range of 85 km. Both the MAX C12i 2.0 and MAX C12 3.0 offer a considerably higher 123 km of claimed range. But, when considering the true range, the actual figure would be 10-20% less than the claimed one.

What battery does the BGauss MAX C12 get?

The C12i EX uses a 2kWh LFP battery, while the MAX C12i 2.0 and MAX C12 3.0 get larger 2.7kWh LFP batteries. The 2.7 kWh batteries on the higher variants are removable, which is very convenient for people with compromised charging.

All three variants use a PMSM hub motor producing 2.5kW of peak power and 1.5kW of continuous power. The scooter has a claimed top speed of around 60 kmph and can accelerate from 0 to 40 kmph in 8.5 seconds.

The MAX C12i 2.0 and MAX C12 3.0 get removable 2.7 kWh batteries, making it possible to take the battery indoors for charging. The C12i EX uses a smaller 2 kWh battery.

The C12 range gets Eco and Sport riding modes. Eco limits the scooter to around 45 kmph, while Sport allows it to reach its maximum speed of around 60 kmph. The MAX C12 3.0 also gets a reverse mode.
