A startup from Bengaluru named E3 Electric.AI has officially revealed its very first product. They call it the Trion range. It is offered in three variants: C1, C1X, and C2. The brand stands out by pitching the Trion range as an intelligent family scooter. It brings a mix of long battery life and smart software features. Pre-bookings have already started across Bengaluru on their official website, with deliveries slated to begin by the end of September 2026.
E3 Trion Electric Scooter Price and Specs
The Trion e-scooter is available in three different variants. The base C1 variant exclusively features a removable battery pack, while the above two variants: C1X, and C2, come with a larger fixed battery pack. Buyers can pick from six colour options, like Solar Red, Misty Green, and Luna White.

The base C1 model uses a 2.3 kWh removable battery pack. This version allows you to ride roughly 108 kilometres before you need to plug it in. If you want to travel further, the C1x variant steps up to a larger 3 kWh fixed battery. This model delivers the highest range in the lineup at 165 kilometres. The top-tier C2 also uses the same 3 kWh fixed battery. However, it sacrifices some range for better performance, featuring a 3.5kW PMSM (Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor) hub motor delivering 145 Nm of torque. The other two variants are driven by a 2.5 kW motor, producing 120 Nm of torque. The entry-level C1 variant has a claimed range of 108km, while the top-end C2 offers 128 kilometres. In all of this, the C1X is the one where you get the most range. It delivers around 165 km of claimed range in a single charge.
Performance and Charging Time
The top C2 model gives you three driving modes:Eco, Power, and Sport. In Sport mode, the scooter sprintsfrom 0 to 40 kilometres per hour in just six seconds. It eventually hits a top speed of 82 kilometres per hour. Storage is a huge selling point, as it is marketed as a convenient family scooter. The scooter takes about 3 hours 30 minutes to charge from 0 to 80% percent for the bigger battery models, while the Trion C1 with its smaller pack takes about 2 hours 30 minutes.
E3 Trion Features, and Smart Tech
The underlying architecture of the Trion relies on a modular platform known as the TRIAXISFRAME. Developed in house by E3 Electric AI, this setup is versatile enough to house both fixed and removable battery setups. Energy storage comes courtesy of Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) cells. To give owners peace of mind, the company offers an extended warranty plan covering up to eight years or one lakh kilometres.
Technology sits right at the center of the riding experience. The scooter comes with a 5-inch display, including Google Maps integration and connected smartphone features. It uses a custom E3 Command Center along with an IoT Core to constantly read vehicle metrics and study riding habits. Before every trip, the system runs a ten-second ‘AI HEALTHSCAN’ diagnostic test to check all critical systems. It also sends out predictive service warnings, plans routes around nearby charging stations, and gives you remote battery checks.
The software suite includes live GPS navigation, geo-fencing boundaries, dashcam support, and automated emergency SOS alerts. Furthermore, over-the-air (OTA) software updates will allow the vehicle to receive new capabilities over time.
The scooter features a total of 52 litres of space spread across the boot, the glove box, and the floorboard. The E3 rides on 14-inch wheels with 90/90-section tubeless tyres.
Our take on the E3 Trion Electric Scooter
The Trion is the first of many upcoming electric two-wheelers from E3 Electric, based on the same modular platform. The brand is taking a complete approach to solve the most common fears buyers face when switching to battery power, especially so when a new, relatively unknown scooter brand is concerned.
The 165 kilometer range on the C1x variant is impressive for the price, giving the Trion some right to win against established rivals like TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak, and the Ather Rizta. Moreover, their heavy focus on predictive software greatly improves overall vehicle reliability concerns, including the daily AI HEALTHSCAN and an 8-year or 1 lakh km battery warranty. But, in the end, how the brand manages to earn the consumer’s trust in service and aftersales is what we are excited and eager to see.
