On-Road Price Across States
On-road prices vary widely between states. For example, states that waive road tax on EVs, such as Telangana, can bring the on-road price several lakh rupees below Bengaluru’s. Insurance on a car this valuable still adds a few lakh rupees everywhere, though. Therefore, always ask your Volvo dealer for an itemised quote before booking.
What the Price Includes
Since Volvo sells the EX90 in one fully loaded form, the price covers everything. Buyers get dual-motor AWD, air suspension, 21-inch alloys and an electrochromic panoramic roof. Inside, there’s a 14.5-inch touchscreen, a head-up display, ventilated and massaging front seats and a 25-speaker Bowers & Wilkins system. For safety, it gets nine airbags, Pilot Assist and Park Pilot Assist.
Introductory Offer
Volvo has added strong extras for early buyers. Bookings made before 31 December 2026 include an 11 kW home charger, a 3-year service package and an assured buyback of 65% after three years. That buyback protects buyers against the steep depreciation that often hits luxury EVs. As a result, the EX90’s effective cost of ownership is lower than its price suggests.
EX90 Running Cost and Warranty
With home charging, the EX90 costs roughly Rs 1.4 to Rs 1.8 per km to run, based on its tested real-world efficiency. That’s far cheaper than the petrol XC90. Furthermore, Volvo covers the battery for 8 years or 1.6 lakh km and the car for 3 years or 1 lakh km.
Volvo EX90 Price vs Rivals

| Volvo EX90 | Rs 1.26 crore | 6 |
| Kia EV9 | Rs 1.30 crore | 6 |

| Porsche Macan Electric | Rs 1.22 to 1.78 crore | 5 |
