Porsche has presented the new model, the Cayenne Electric, a completely new battery-powered electric SUV. This car was officially announced in India and launched on the 20th of November 2025. It is Porsche’s third all-electric car and its most powerful car ever.
Most Powerful Production Model
The new electric Cayenne comes with two main models: the regular Cayenne Electric and the super luxury Cayenne Turbo Electric. The base version has a dual-motor setup producing 402 bhp, and upon activation of Launch Control, this power can be briefly increased to 435 bhp. On the other hand, the Turbo Electric variant not only brings the brand’s highest power up to 1,139 bhp and 1,500 Nm of torque when Launch Control is activated, but also claims Porsche’s record for the most powerful production model ever.
Rapid Acceleration
The base model Cayenne Electric can do 0 to 100 km/h in only 4.8 seconds and has a top speed of 230 km/h. The top-trimmed Cayenne Turbo Electric is even more impressive; it gets to 100 km/h from zero in an astounding 2.5 seconds and is capable of reaching a maximum speed of 260 km/h.
Impressive Range
The electric powertrains of both the Cayenne models are based on state-of-the-art 800-volt architecture powered by a high-capacity 113 kWh battery. The standard model will cover a very respectable 642 km range per charge (WLTP cycle), while the powerful Turbo Electric will still have a range of 623 km (WLTP). Both versions are equipped for DC fast charging of up to 400 kW, which means that the battery will be able to recharge from 10 to 80 per cent in less than 16 minutes.

The latest electric SUV is marked for the ultra-luxury segment. The Porsche Cayenne Electric (Standard) is offered at a minimum price of ₹1.75 crore (ex-showroom) in the Indian market. The most expensive Cayenne Turbo Electric is in the S class with a ₹2.26 crore (ex-showroom) starting price.
