The Tata Motors Vista EV will follow a more modern design philosophy, retaining elements from the original Indica Vista model, discontinued quite some time ago in India. The vehicle can follow the same design silhouette, retaining the tall-boy proportions and long wheelbase; these made the Indica Vista once a popular choice that offered enough space and road presence. Apart from these, the following design integrations can be expected from the Tata Indica Vista EV in India:
- Modern Lighting Setup: The Tata Indica Vista EV can feature a full LED lightbar and connected LED tail lights to give it a much more modern appeal.
- Aerodynamic Elements: The Indica EV from Tata Motors is expected to come with flush door handles, larger aerodynamic and machined alloy wheels, and a closed-off front grille section with texture to give an EV appeal.
- Strong Cladding: Minor incorporation of cladding near the lower portion of the side sections; arches can also be provided with it for a muscular stance and rugged appeal.

- Infotainment System: The Tata Indica Vista EV will feature a large infotainment screen sized 10.25 inches for a more immersive and better user experience.
- Cabin Comfort: Will offer more legroom and headroom for occupants, also featuring a well-bolstered seating arrangement and recline functionality.
- Safety Tech: Targeting a 5-star Bharat NCAP crash test rating, the Indica Vista EV will come with 6 airbags standard, electronic stability control (ESC) and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
Tata Indica Vista EV Expected Price:
If introduced in the market, the Indica EV from Tata Motors will slide in between the Tata Tiago EV and Altroz EV in the hatchback lineup. The estimated price tag of the Tata Indica Vista EV is around Rs 9.50 lakh (for the base variant), ranging up to Rs 12.50 lakh (for the top-tier trim) (ex-showroom prices). Rivals of the Indica Vista EV can be the Citroen eC3 and MG Comet EV.
As for the launch timeline of the Indica Vista EV, Tata Motors has not officially announced anything yet since its EV strategy has been prioritising the Punch EV, Altroz EV and Avinya series. However, since heritage reboots are working out well, the launch of the Tata Indica Vista EV cannot be disregarded. Future projects can feature the Indica Vista EV for the Indian hatchback market.
