Mahindra 3XO EV Features on Both Variants
Even the AX5 comes well equipped. For example, dual-zone automatic climate control and rear AC vents keep everyone comfortable. Also, a wireless phone charger, passive keyless entry and push-button start come included. In addition, cruise control, auto headlamps and rain-sensing wipers make daily driving easier. Outside, both variants get LED projector headlamps, Infinity LED tail lamps and roof rails.
Screens and Connected Car Tech
The dashboard features two 10.25-inch HD displays, one for infotainment and one for the driver. Also, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay come on both variants. Meanwhile, Mahindra’s Adrenox platform offers 80+ connected features and built-in Alexa. Through the app, you can use remote climate control, remote lock and unlock, live tracking and charging history. Plus, over-the-air (OTA) updates keep the software current.
Safety Features
Every 3XO EV gets six airbags, ESP and disc brakes on all four wheels. Also, an electronic parking brake with auto hold and a tyre pressure monitoring system come standard. For emergencies, E-Call and an SOS button are built in. On the AX7L, safety improves further with Level 2 ADAS, a 360-degree camera, a blind view monitor and front parking sensors.
What the AX7L Adds Inside
The AX7L gives the cabin a more premium feel. It adds premium leatherette seats and soft-touch leatherette on the dashboard and door trims. Also, the 7-speaker Harman Kardon system includes an amplifier and subwoofer. In addition, a cooled glove box, an illuminated vanity mirror and 65W USB-C fast charging come included.
Driving and Charging Features
Both variants offer three drive modes: Fun, Fast and Fearless. Also, single-pedal driving makes stop-and-go traffic easier. For charging, the 3XO EV uses the standard CCS Type 2 connector. In addition, the suspension uses frequency-dependent damping to improve ride comfort.
Things to Know Before Buying
The light-coloured interior can get dirty quickly in Indian conditions, so it needs regular cleaning. Also, some owners find the ride firm at low speeds over bumps.
