Premium Upgrades Over the HTX ER
The HTX Plus ER brings a big jump in cabin quality. It gets Onyx Black and Off-White leatherette seats and a dual-tone leatherette-wrapped D-cut steering wheel. In addition, an 8-speaker Harman Kardon sound system delivers much richer audio. Outside, auto flush door handles give it a sleeker look. Meanwhile, an auto-dimming rear-view mirror with Kia Connect 2.0 controls adds connected car tech.
Kia Syros EV HTX Plus ER Features
Beyond the premium touches, the HTX Plus ER gets a battery heating system, which helps maintain charging speed in cooler weather. It’s also the only Syros EV variant with a dual-camera smart dashcam, controlled through a mobile app. In addition, it keeps the electric parking brake with auto hold, paddle shifters with i-Pedal, cruise control and the frunk. For safety, it offers 6 airbags, ESC and rollover sensors.
What It Misses
The biggest omission is Level 2 ADAS, which comes only on the X-Line ER. As a result, the HTX Plus ER misses smart cruise control with stop and go, lane keeping assist and forward collision-avoidance assist. It also skips 64-colour ambient lighting.
HTX Plus ER vs HTX ER and X-Line ER

The HTX Plus ER costs Rs 1.5 lakh more than the HTX ER, adding Harman Kardon audio, leatherette seats and a battery heater. However, the X-Line ER costs just Rs 50,000 more and adds Level 2 ADAS. Therefore, buyers who want ADAS should stretch to the X-Line.
