Kia Carens Clavis EV Exterior Features
The Carens Clavis EV gets Kia’s Digital Tiger Face with a blanked-off grille and a front-mounted charging port. It also gets Ice Cube LED headlamps, Star Map LED DRLs and connected LED tail lamps. Depending on the variant, it rides on 16-inch or 17-inch crystal-cut aero alloys. In addition, the GTX variants add lime brake calipers, while the X-Line gets glossy black alloys.
Three-Row Comfort and Practicality
Family practicality is the Carens Clavis EV’s biggest strength. The second row can slide, recline and tumble, and a one-touch electric tumble button makes reaching the third row easy. Meanwhile, the third row can recline and fold flat for extra luggage. In addition, roof-mounted AC vents cool the second and third rows, while rear sunshade curtains block the sun. The 6-seater versions also get second-row captain seats.
Kia Carens Clavis EV Infotainment Features
The dashboard combines a 12.25-inch touchscreen with a 12.25-inch digital cluster in one panel. It supports Kia Connect connected car tech and over-the-air updates. Higher variants get an 8-speaker Bose sound system, while lower variants get 4 speakers and 2 tweeters. In addition, an infotainment and climate swap switch lets you use the same controls for both.
Convenience Features
Every Carens Clavis EV gets a smart key with remote start, paddle shifters for regen and i-Pedal one-pedal driving. In addition, 5 USB-C ports keep every row’s devices charged. Higher variants add a Smart Pure air purifier with AQI display, a 4-way powered driver seat and rain-sensing wipers. Meanwhile, V2L works both inside and outside, and a 25-litre frunk stores the charging cable.
Kia Carens Clavis EV Safety and ADAS Features
Every Carens Clavis EV gets 6 airbags, ESC, hill-start assist, downhill brake control and disc brakes on all four wheels. It also offers a rear occupant alert, ISOFIX mounts and 3-point seat belts for every seat. Meanwhile, higher variants add Level 2 ADAS, including smart cruise control with stop and go, lane following assist and blind-spot collision-avoidance assist. Top variants also get a 360-degree camera and a blind view monitor.
Before You Buy the Carens Clavis EV
