Range and Charging
With 93 km of claimed range, the Go 2.2 kWh RQ covers most short city routines. In real-world riding, expect roughly 65 to 70 km, depending on ride mode and load. As a result, a rider covering about 25 km a day can go two days between charges. Moreover, the removable battery lets you charge indoors from any regular socket. On Vida’s public fast chargers, it reaches 80% in about an hour.
RQ vs Regular Go 2.2 kWh
The RQ shares its battery, motor, range and top speed with the regular Hero Vida VX2 Go 2.2 kWh. Both also get the same 33.2-litre boot and connected features. However, the RQ costs about Rs 5,000 more, and Hero hasn’t clearly listed what the extra money adds. Therefore, ask your Vida dealer to explain the difference before choosing between the two.
Hero Vida VX2 Go 2.2 kWh RQ Features
The RQ covers the essentials well. A 4.3-inch colour LCD offers Bluetooth, turn-by-turn navigation and call alerts. Moreover, a two-way throttle engages reverse when parked and adds extra regenerative braking while riding. The Vida app brings geofencing, remote immobilisation and OTA updates. On the safety side, crash and fall alerts and a side-stand motor cut-off come standard.
Who Should Buy It
The Go 2.2 kWh RQ suits riders who cover under 40 km a day and want a light, easy scooter with plenty of storage. Its low weight also helps newer riders. However, riders with longer commutes should consider the Hero Vida VX2 Go 3.1 kWh, which claims 128 km and actually costs about Rs 2,000 less. Meanwhile, buyers who want a front disc brake should look at the Plus versions.
