The Sealion 7 is a large coupe-style SUV with a long 2,930 mm wheelbase, which frees up generous rear legroom. In addition, its 500-litre boot and 58-litre frunk handle family luggage with ease. At 165 mm, ground clearance is higher than the Seal sedan’s, making it better suited to Indian roads.
BYD Sealion 7 Battery and Range Specifications
Both versions share the same 82.56 kWh Blade LFP battery. The Premium claims 567 km, while the Performance claims 542 km because its second motor uses more energy. In real-world driving, expect roughly 430 to 460 km from the Premium and 410 to 440 km from the Performance.
BYD Sealion 7 Motor and Performance
The Premium uses a single rear motor making 308 bhp and 380 Nm, enough for a 6.7-second sprint to 100 km/h. Meanwhile, the Performance adds a front motor for all-wheel drive, producing a combined 523 bhp and 690 Nm. As a result, it hits 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds. Both offer Eco, Normal, Sport and Snow drive modes.

BYD Sealion 7 Suspension, Tyres and Brakes
The Sealion 7 uses a double wishbone front suspension and a multi-link rear setup. The Premium rides on staggered 19-inch tyres (235/50 R19 front, 255/45 R19 rear), while the Performance gets larger 20-inch wheels. In addition, disc brakes come on all four wheels.
