The BYD Sealion 7 Dynamic is the new entry-level version of BYD’s electric SUV, launched in August 2026 at Rs 41.90 lakh (ex-showroom). In Bengaluru, it costs about Rs 48.60 lakh on-road. Dynamic Features

Despite its lower price, the Dynamic keeps most of the Sealion 7’s appeal. It gets a 15.6-inch rotating touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with a 10.25-inch digital driver display. In addition, a 10-speaker Dynaudio system, powered and ventilated front seats and dual-zone climate control come standard. It also offers V2L, an NFC card key and a 58-litre front trunk.

Safety Features

The Dynamic doesn’t cut corners on safety. It gets 11 airbags, a 360-degree camera and front and rear parking sensors. In addition, the Level 2 ADAS suite includes adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, lane departure prevention and blind spot detection. However, it skips the driver attention warning found on higher variants.

What the BYD Sealion 7 Dynamic Misses

To hit its lower price, the Dynamic drops a few premium touches. Most notably, it doesn’t get a head-up display, driver seat memory or a hands-free powered tailgate. It also uses synthetic leather instead of genuine leather and skips the RGB ambient lighting. Finally, AC charging is limited to 7 kW, compared with 11 kW on the Premium.
