Performance and Handling

The Performance adds a front motor to the rear motor, giving it all-wheel drive and a combined 523 bhp. As a result, it accelerates faster than many luxury sports cars costing twice as much. In addition, frequency-selective damping (FSD) adjusts the shock absorbers to improve both comfort and cornering. Meanwhile, Intelligent Torque Adaption Control (iTAC) shifts power between the axles for better grip.

Features

The Performance gets every feature in the Seal range. It offers a 15.6-inch rotating touchscreen, a 10.25-inch digital driver display and a head-up display. In addition, a 12-speaker Dynaudio system, a panoramic glass roof and ventilated and heated front seats come standard. Moreover, driver seat and ORVM memory make it easy to switch between drivers.

BYD Seal Performance Safety and ADAS

The Performance gets 9 airbags, ESC, a 360-degree camera and front and rear parking sensors. Its Level 2 ADAS suite includes adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, lane keep assist and blind spot detection. In addition, all-wheel drive adds extra stability in the wet.
