Ampere launched the new Magnus G Max electric scooter in India for an introductory price of ₹94,999. The EV is aimed at everyday riders who want a reliable, spacious, and comfortable EV around ₹1 lakh, and this launch added to its family-focused portfolio.
Key Specifications
The Magnus G Max is designed to meet the key needs of Indian homes, including usable range, storage space, battery safety, and comfortable everyday commuting. It has a certified range of 142 km and a real-world riding range of more than 100 km in Eco mode, making it ideal for daily business commutes, school runs, and city travel, as well as a 3 kWh Lithium Ferro Phosphate battery pack option.
Charging, it can go from 20 to 80 % in 4.5 hours, which should fit easily into overnight or daytime charging routines. Ampere backs this with a 5-year or 75,000 km battery warranty, underlining its emphasis on ownership confidence.
It has a 1.5 kW motor power (hub-mounted) and can reach 2.4 kW at its max. There are three riding modes: Eco, City, and Reverse, and the top speed is 65 kmph. The scooter is built on a dual-frame chassis with 165 mm ground clearance and was designed with Indian road conditions in mind, including uneven terrain and frequent speed breakers.
