Tata Tiago EV Variant Breakdown
Now, that we have sorted out the hardware, let’s dive into what features the variants actually get you:
Tata Tiago EV Smart: 19.2 kWh

Despite being the entry-level variant, the Smart doesn’t feel bare-bones. It is fairly equipped with all the essential safety as well as comfort features. Even the base version gets:
- 6 airbags as standard
- A digital instrument console
- Automatic climate control
- Multi-level regenerative braking
- TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System)
- Rear parking sensors
- ISOFIX mounts for child seat
Best Suited Use Case: This variant is best suited for city commutes, or for people who are upgrading from a two-wheeler. It will also be suitable as a second car in your garage, but using it as a sole electric vehicle could cause some inconvenience due to its limited range.
Tata Tiago EV Pure+: 19.2 kWh
This is where the Tata Tiago EV starts to feel a bit premium. It sits in the sweet spot, where it offers excellent value for your money. It gets all the goodies from the Smart variants, and builds over it with:
- 8-inch touchscreen infotainment unit
- Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay
- 4-speaker audio system
- Steering-mounted controls
- Electrically adjustable ORVMs
- Shark-fin antenna
- New wheel covers
- USB Type-C fast charging ports
Best Suited Use Case: With all of this equipment, the Tiago EV starts to feel complete and modern. For urban buyers who want all the essential features without spending too much, this variant would make the most sense.
Tata Tiago EVPure+: 24 kWh

The Pure+ 24 gets the same exact feature list as the Pure+ 19 kWh variant but swaps in the larger 24 kWh battery pack. Also, the 24 kWh battery pack comes with a lifetime warranty, which should be a major reason to go for this, as it will give a safe, hassle-free ownership experience.
Best Suited Use Case: This variant is perfect for people who travel long distances but want a budget EV. In this, you can travel longer, take fewer charging stops, and the highway range anxiety will also be reduced. Also, here the Tata electric car can add 100 km worth of range in just 18 mins, which makes it a lot more convenient.
Tata Tiago EV Creative+: 24 kWh

This is the variant Tata has gone bonkers over and packed it up to the brim. It gets all the features from the previous variants and builds on them with:
- LED DRLs and Lux Beam LED headlamps
- A 360-degree camera
- Blind-spot monitor
- ESP (Electronic Stability Program) with traction control
- Hill hold control
- Rain-sensing wipers
- Automatic headlamps
- Cruise control
- Passive entry and start
- Rear AC vents
- Cooled glovebox
- Rear wiper and washer
- 10.2-inch HD touchscreen
- Hyper-style wheels
Best Suited Use Case: Here, the new Tiago EV feels genuinely premium for a compact electric hatchback. With features like a 360-degree camera, blind-spot monitor and ESP (Electronic Stability Program), which are rare in cars of this segment, the Tata Tiago EV feels a lot more upmarket than before. You buy this variant when you want the fully fledged experience without any compromise.
Which Tata Tiago EV Variant For Whom?
For most buyers, the Pure+ 24 kWh feels like the ideal balance. You get the larger battery pack, usable real-world range and enough features without stretching all the way to the top-spec variant. But if you want a small EV that feels genuinely premium and feature-rich, the Creative+ 24 kWh is surprisingly loaded for what it offers. And that’s exactly why the Tiago EV continues to remain one of the most accessible and sensible electric cars in India right now.
