Volvo EX90 Variants Explained
Volvo sells the EX90 in India in a single Ultra Twin Motor AWD trim, imported as a fully built unit. As a result, every buyer gets the same 106 kWh battery, dual-motor setup and full feature list. It’s also offered only as a six-seater, with captain’s chairs in the second row. Volvo launched the EX90 on 12 October 2026, and deliveries begin in January 2027.
What the EX90 Ultra Includes
| Category | Standard equipment |
|---|---|
| Powertrain | Dual motors, 450 bhp, 670 Nm, AWD, 0 to 100 km/h in about 5.5 seconds |
| Exterior | HD Pixel LED headlights, 21-inch alloys, electrochromic panoramic roof |
| Cabin | Nappa leather, ventilated and massaging front seats, sliding and reclining captain’s chairs |
| Tech | 14.5-inch touchscreen with Google built-in, 9-inch driver display, head-up display |
| Comfort | Four-zone climate control, air suspension, 25-speaker Bowers & Wilkins sound |
| Safety | Nine airbags, Pilot Assist, Park Pilot Assist, Driver Understanding System |
What the EX90 Misses
Even at this price, the EX90 skips a few features. Second-row captain’s chairs don’t get electric adjustment, ventilation or massage. There are also no rear window sunshades or rear-seat entertainment screens. Moreover, Volvo doesn’t offer a seven-seat version in India, and the glass roof doesn’t open. Third-row space also suits children better than adults.
