Reports suggest two variants: 65 kWh and 75 kWh. However, Tata hasn’t shared which features each one gets. Usually, Tata keeps its best tech for top versions. Tata Safari EV Exterior Features
From the outside, the Safari EV should keep the Safari’s bold, upright shape. However, it will likely get a closed-off grille, since an EV doesn’t need much airflow up front. Also, look out for new bumpers, EV badges and aero-style alloy wheels that help the range. At the back, a powered tailgate with gesture control should make loading bags easier.
Tata Safari EV Interior and Comfort Features
Inside, comfort gets a big boost. First, the front seats should come powered and ventilated. Then, the 6-seat version may add ventilated captain seats in the second row, which is rare in this segment. On top of that, expect multi-zone climate control, so different rows can pick their own temperature. Finally, a voice-assisted panoramic sunroof should make the cabin feel bright and airy.
Tata Safari EV Infotainment and Tech Features
The dashboard should look very different from the Harrier EV’s. Instead of two screens, the Safari EV may get three. For example, there’s a 12.3-inch touchscreen in the centre and a 10.25-inch driver display. Plus, a separate 12.3-inch screen for the front passenger should let them stream or navigate on their own. Besides that, a JBL sound system should handle music, while a digital IRVM doubles as a dashcam.

The Safari EV should support V2L, so you can run devices like a laptop or kettle from its battery. Likewise, V2V may let you charge another EV in an emergency. Meanwhile, the 75 kWh variant could offer dual-motor AWD for better grip on wet or hilly roads. Also, a new multi-link rear suspension with Frequency Dependent Dampers may give a smoother ride.
Tata Safari EV Safety Features
Safety should be a strong point. To begin with, reports point to Level 2 ADAS with adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist and autonomous emergency braking. In addition, a 540-degree camera may show what’s under and around the car, which helps on rough roads. Auto park assist should also help in tight spots. Still, Tata hasn’t shared the airbag count yet.
Before You Buy
First, decide between 6 and 7 seats. If your family is mostly adults, the 6-seater with ventilated captain seats may suit you better. However, the 7-seater makes more sense if you often carry kids or extra passengers. Also, wait for Tata’s official feature split, since the 65 kWh may miss a few extras. Finally, check that you can install a home charger, because that’s how you’ll charge most of the time.
