- Two Oben bikes discontinued
- The lineup now starts at Rs 99,999
- Possible discontinuation due to low sales
Oben Electric recently launched the Rorr Evo in India, priced at Rs 99,999 (ex-showroom). It is the sportiest-looking bike from the brand to be produced yet. After this launch, the brand has discontinued the two models, Oben Rorr and Oben Rorr EZ, by silently taking them down from the OEM website. Both of these models catered to different buyers, but there was a major overlap in their pricing structure with the better-selling models.
The Oben Rorr was priced at Rs 1,49,999, and the Oben Rorr EZ’s prices started from Rs 99,999 before being discontinued. For the latest price list of the current lineup, check out the table below:
| Model | Variant | Price In Rs |
| Oben Rorr Evo | 3.4kWh | Rs 99,999 |
| Oben Rorr EZ Sigma | 3.4kWh | Rs 1,09,999 |
| 4.4kWh | Rs 1,19,999 |
This now makes the Oben Rorr Evo, the most affordable bike in the lineup, which is also the newest and the best-looking model. So, it provides even more value to the buyers.
We think that this move could be a direct consequence of the low sales volumes of the discontinued bikes. Also, with this, the brand has streamlined the lineup, and removed the overlap in pricing, that these models caused. Also, due to the overlap, there was a lot of confusion among buyers as to which model they should get.

We think that this lineup reset was quite necessary. Now, the brand provides the buyers with very well-defined choices, better clarity, and also a better riding experience at a lower price point. And, if the new Oben Rorr Evo’s sales gain traction, this could be a smart consolidation, rather than a setback for the brand.
