Comfort and Convenience Features
The Pack Two Above brings the most useful comfort upgrades in the XEV 9S range. For instance, ventilated front seats keep the driver and co-passenger cool in summer. Also, a 6-way powered driver seat makes adjustments quick and easy. Meanwhile, the 16-speaker Harman Kardon system with Dolby Atmos offers rich sound across all three rows. In addition, it keeps the base trim’s Level 2 ADAS, OTA updates and one-touch driver window.
Range, Power and Charging
The 79 kWh battery powers a 210 kW (282 bhp) rear motor with 380 Nm. As a result, the seven-seater reaches 100 km/h in 7.0 seconds. The claimed range is 679 km, which suits long family road trips. On a 180 kW DC charger, it charges from 20 to 80% in about 20 minutes. At home, an 11.2 kW wall box takes about 8 hours for a full charge, while a 7.2 kW unit needs roughly 11.7 hours.
Is the 79 kWh Worth Rs 90,000 More Than the 70 kWh?
For most buyers, yes. Over the Pack Two Above 70, this version adds 79 km of claimed range, 41 bhp of power and faster 180 kW charging. All this costs just Rs 90,000 more ex-showroom. Also, both versions already pay 10% registration in Karnataka, so the on-road gap stays small, at about Rs 1 lakh.
Pack Two Above 79 vs Pack One Above 79
The Pack One Above 79 costs Rs 3.3 lakh less ex-showroom and offers the same range and performance. However, it misses the ventilated seats, powered driver seat, 360-degree camera and Harman Kardon audio. Also, in Bengaluru, the on-road gap widens to about Rs 5 lakh, because the Pack One Above 79 stays under Rs 25 lakh. So, choose based on how much you value the comfort features.
Pack Two Above 79 vs Pack Three 79
The Pack Three 79 costs Rs 1.9 lakh more. Its main upgrade is intelligent adaptive suspension, which improves ride quality on rough roads. Apart from that, both share the same battery, motor and key comfort features. Therefore, the Pack Two Above 79 makes more sense unless ride comfort is your top priority.
