Top-Spec Features of the AX7L
As the top trim, the AX7L offers the full feature list. The cabin gets a panoramic skyroof, premium leatherette seats and a soft-touch leatherette dashboard. For entertainment, a 7-speaker Harman Kardon system with an amplifier, subwoofer and Dolby Atmos comes included. Also, twin 10.25-inch screens, 65W USB-C charging and a cooled glove box add everyday convenience. Outside, it rides on 17-inch diamond-cut alloys with LED fog lamps.
Home Charging With the 7.2 kW Wall Box
The included 7.2 kW wall box charges the 39.4 kWh battery fully in about 6.5 hours. In comparison, a regular household socket takes about 13 to 15 hours. So, plugging in overnight gives you a full battery every morning. For longer trips, the 3XO EV also supports 50 kW DC fast charging, going from 0 to 80% in about 50 minutes.
ADAS and Safety
The AX7L is the only 3XO EV trim with Level 2 ADAS. It also gets a 360-degree camera, a blind view monitor and front parking sensors. In addition, six airbags, ESP, TPMS and an electronic parking brake with auto hold come standard. For emergencies, E-Call and an SOS button are built in.
Range and Performance
The 148 bhp front motor produces 310 Nm of torque and reaches 100 km/h in 8.3 seconds. The claimed range is 351 km, with Mahindra quoting up to 285 km in real-world driving. Also, three drive modes, Fun, Fast and Fearless, let you choose between efficiency and performance.
Is It Worth Rs 1.57 Lakh Over the Base AX5?
Compared with the AX5 without charger, this version costs Rs 1.57 lakh more. That covers the wall charger plus the AX7L’s ADAS, 360-degree camera, panoramic skyroof, leatherette seats and Harman Kardon audio. For buyers who want the safest, most comfortable 3XO EV with hassle-free home charging, this is the version to pick.
