Kia Syros EV Exterior Features
The Syros EV stands out with Kia’s boxy, upright design and a Digital Tiger Face front. It gets Ice Cube LED headlamps, Star Map LED DRLs and Star Map LED tail lamps. Depending on the variant, it rides on 16-inch or 17-inch crystal-cut dual-tone aero alloys. In addition, higher variants get auto flush door handles, LED fog lamps and glossy black roof rails.
Interior and Comfort Features
Comfort is a big strength of the Syros EV. Higher variants get ventilated front seats and, unusually for this segment, ventilated rear seats too. In addition, the 60:40 split rear seats can slide and recline, adjusting for legroom or luggage. A 4-way powered driver seat, rear sunshade curtains and rear AC vents also add comfort. Meanwhile, a dual-pane panoramic sunroof brightens the cabin.
Kia Syros EV Infotainment Features
The 30-inch Trinity panoramic display combines three screens: a 12.3-inch touchscreen, a 12.3-inch digital cluster and a 5-inch climate control touchscreen. It supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with Kia Connect 2.0 and over-the-air updates. Higher variants also get an 8-speaker Harman Kardon sound system. In addition, a 100W USB-C port can fast-charge a laptop.
Convenience Features
The Syros EV gets paddle shifters for adjustable regen and i-Pedal one-pedal driving. Higher variants add a wireless phone charger, a digital key and internal V2L to power devices inside the cabin. Moreover, a battery heating system, a frunk and 64-colour ambient lighting on the X-Line add everyday convenience. Puddle lamps with Kia logo projection also add a premium touch.
Kia Syros EV Safety and ADAS Features
Every Syros EV gets 6 airbags, ESC, hill-start assist, highline TPMS and disc brakes on all four wheels. Higher variants add a 360-degree camera, a blind view monitor and front and side parking sensors. Meanwhile, top variants get Level 2 ADAS, including smart cruise control with stop and go, lane following assist and forward collision-avoidance assist. A rear occupant alert also reminds you to check the rear seats before leaving.
Before You Buy the Syros EV
Keep a few points in mind. First, top features like ADAS, the 360-degree camera and Harman Kardon audio come only on higher variants. Second, the V2L works only inside the cabin, not for external devices. Finally, the 11 kW home charger is sold separately.
