Kia Carens Clavis EV HTK Plus Features
The HTK Plus is well equipped for a base model. It gets dual 12.25-inch screens for infotainment and the instrument cluster, plus 16-inch crystal-cut dual-tone aero alloys. In addition, a smart key with remote start lets you cool the cabin before you get in. A 25-litre frunk also stores the charging cable. For families, it keeps the Carens Clavis EV’s one-touch electric tumble second row and roof-mounted rear AC vents.
Safety Features
Every Carens Clavis EV, including the HTK Plus, gets 6 airbags as standard. Kia also includes its 18 Hi-Safety package, with features such as ESC, hill-start assist, downhill brake control and disc brakes on all four wheels. In addition, a rear occupant alert and 3-point seat belts for every seat add peace of mind. However, Level 2 ADAS comes only on higher variants.
What the HTK Plus Misses
To keep the price low, the HTK Plus skips several comfort features. It doesn’t get the dual-pane panoramic sunroof, 64-colour ambient lighting or the Smart Pure air purifier. It also uses fabric upholstery instead of leatherette, and skips the auto-dimming rear-view mirror. In addition, it’s only offered as a 7-seater.

Interestingly, the HTK Plus costs about the same as the base Hyundai Creta Electric Executive, yet adds a third row. As a result, it offers strong value for larger families on a budget.
