Avore EX Electric Motorcycles Launched In India; Prices Start At Rs 1.25 Lakh

Avore Electric made its India debut with three new electric motorcycles: EX1, EX2, and EX2S. The prices start from Rs 1.25 lakh and go up till Rs 1.70 lakh (ex-showroom). These bikes are available with different battery packs, ranges and performance equivalent to a 150cc bike. The brand has also opened pre-bookings on all three bikes, with the token amount set at Rs 799.

Avore Electric Bikes Battery, Range, and Performance

The entry-level EX1 model is fitted with a 3.24 kWh battery pack, which gives it 160 km of claimed range. It is driven by a mid-mounted electric motor that makes 10.5 kW of peak power, propelling the bike to a claimed top speed of 100 kmph. With these attributes, the EX1 should make for a fantastic city bike, which can do occasional highway runs with ease.

The EX2 is quite similar to the EX1 but gets a bigger battery, a 5 kWh unit. This bigger battery pack gives it a claimed range of 255 km on a single charge. The top speed of the EX2 is the same as the EX1. With this model you get similar performance to the EX1, but you will have more range and will need to charge it a lot less. The EX1 and EX2 come with three riding modes.

The EX2S, though, is at a whole different level. Even when it gets the same 5 kWh battery pack as the EX2, it is tuned for better performance and can reach a claimed top speed of 114 kmph. The claimed range for the EX2S is 260 km. It also gets two additional riding modes and other premium features over the other two models. One of the most interesting features of the EX2S is that it comes with a belt drive and a manual gearbox.

Avore Electric has entered the market with an ambitious product strategy. Instead of launching a single motorcycle, the company is offering three variants that cater to different rider needs—from the affordable EX1 to the feature-packed EX2S. On paper, a claimed 260 km IDC range, 114 km/h top speed, fast charging and competitive pricing make the EX lineup an interesting proposition. However, Avore’s biggest challenge won’t be specifications—it will be building a nationwide sales and service network capable of competing with established players like Revolt, Oben and Matter. Until real-world reviews and customer deliveries begin, the EX1 and EX2 remain promising newcomers with plenty to prove.
