The following are the current prices for the ES range:
| Vehicle Model | Trims On Offer | Ex-Showroom Prices |
| Lexus ES 350h | Exquisite | Rs 66,10,000 |
| Luxury | Rs 71,80,000 | |
| Lexus ES 500e | Rs 89,99,000 |
The Pricing Factor: Why Is The ES 350h Preferred?
The new Lexus ES 350h is the much more affordable solution for customers in India looking to shift to a hybrid vehicle rather than a fully electric solution. The ES 350h comes as an affordable solution with prices almost Rs 18.19 lakh lower than the fully electric ES 500e. The higher price for the ES 500e is due to the advanced and massive battery pack. Nevertheless, the ES 350h is preferred because customers want ICE vehicle performance while not compromising on driving range efficiency.
The Lexus ES 350h: What’s Under The Hood?
The new Lexus ES 350h is propelled by a 2.5-litre, 4-cylinder strong hybrid petrol powertrain, paired to an e-CVT, or electronically actuated continuous variable transmission. This naturally aspirated petrol powerhouse manages to produce 186 hp of power and 235 Nm of torque. The engagement of the battery energy helps the ES 350h churn out 201 hp and 270 Nm. Combined, the hybrid powertrain configuration offers 244 hp of power. 0-100 kmph is achieved in 7.7 seconds.
The Design Of ES 350h | What Makes It Standout?
The Lexus ES 350h design is inspired to be bold and muscular, featuring “simplicity” underpinning the design philosophy – “Provocative Minimalism” – but with sophisticated design attributes. This includes the vehicle’s slim LED headlights (with an adaptive high-beam system) and a cliff-hanging fascia featuring sharp horizontal slats for a grille that gives the ES 350h a muscular stance.
The sides are a continuum of the sharp-edged, simple design strategy with Z-shaped element integrations. The rising belt line with fewer contoured design elements gives it the same. Additionally, the 19-inch alloy wheels lend the structure an athletic stance, giving it a significantly premium and taller road presence. The rear section is neatly designed with connected LED taillights and a sloping roofline.
The Interior Elements | What Is Offered?
The cabin space is truly luxury-orientated, featuring multiple design elements and tech integrations. The following are a few details that are enough to define the luxury appeal that the ES represents:
Features List:
- A 12.3-inch LCD Meter Console
- Hidden Responsive Switchgear (surfaces when required)
- E-IRVM (digital inside rear-view mirror)
- 12-Speaker Mark Levinson Surround Sound System
- Advanced Air Purifier System (NanoeX Technology)
- 14-inch Infotainment System (Multimedia)
Conclusion | The Key Rivals For The ES 350h
Naturally, the Lexus ES 350h, featuring world-class luxury design, high-performance powertrain and high safety standards, rivals the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, the BMW 5 Series and the Audi A6, among others. But with advanced hybrid technology, delivering more efficiency and performance, the ES 350h can contend against German offerings available in regular petrol and diesel powertrains. The ES 350h is an overall well-equipped and comfortable solution designed for those who wish to melt into luxury.
