Tata Motors has streamlined the lineup by dropping all previous variants, including those equipped with the smaller 45 kWh battery pack. As a result, every Curvv EV now comes standard with the larger 55 kWh battery, effectively lowering the entry price while offering a higher-capacity battery, a more generous features list, and Tata’s lifetime battery warranty as standard.

All Series X variants of the Tata Curvv EV use the same powertrain setup, including a front-axle-mounted electric motor making 167 hp and 215 Nm. Tesla Model Y Premium RWD – Tesla Now Starts at Rs 51 Lakh in India

Tesla has completely overhauled their India pricing strategy with the launch of the updated Model Y Premium RWD. The new Model Y has been launched with an aggressive price drop of almost Rs 9 lakhs from the initial prices.
The overall Model Y lineup now offers two options – a 5-seater RWD model that has been priced at Rs 50.89 lakh, while the spacious 6-seater AWD variant called Model Y L costs Rs 61.99 lakh.
Powertrain and Technology
The Tesla Model Y Premium RWD gets a 64 kWh battery pack (estimated on the basis of global variants) that works with a single rear-mount electric motor. The electric motor produces a power output of around 299 hp and accelerates the car from 0 to 100 kmph in a mere 5.9 seconds with a top speed of 201 kmph.
While the performance figures are impressive, the Model Y’s biggest differentiator remains Tesla’s software-first approach. The entire interior looks absolutely minimalistic with everything operating through one centralised 16-inch touchscreen. The rear passengers also have their own entertainment systems in the form of another 8-inch touchscreen display.
