VW Reveals ID. Cross Concept Electric SUV with 420 km Range

VW reveals the ID. Cross Concept, a new electric SUV with a futuristic design, spacious interior, and a 420 km claimed range.

The Volkswagen ID. Cross has been revealed as the new electric SUV concept, introduced as a precursor to the brand’s future entry-level electric model range. The announcement maintained that production would begin in 2026. It debuted as a concept and showcased the company’s new Pure Positive design language.

A New All-Rounder 

A major step in electric mobility was taken with the ID. Cross Concept was officially debuted by Volkswagen. This new electric SUV, which will act as the brand’s next entry-level electric vehicle, boldly speaks of design and function. ID. The Cross is an all-rounder that is just right for city driving and yet spacious enough for long journeys. The design is based on VW’s new “Pure Positive” philosophy of clean, strong lines and a friendly, charismatic look that will be characteristic of future Volkswagen models.

• Fabric-clad surfaces are employed throughout the cabin to maximize the feeling of comfort.
• Technology goes smart inside with a 13-inch central infotainment screen.
• An 11-inch digital instrument cluster shares the same visual axis with the main screen to reduce the driver’s distraction.
